Plug & Cage Choke - JVS Model VPC

• Size available from 1" to 12".
• Pressure rating: 2000, 3000, 5000, 10000, 15000 psi and ANSI classes up to 4500#.
• Body/bonnet materials like carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel alloy and low alloy steel with 3mm finish nickel alloy cladded on wetted areas to suit different service conditions.
• Forged or cast body construction.
• Metal to metal shut off in accordance with ANSI class IV & V.
• Bonnet may be hammer lug type or bolted type.
• Standard trim with 4 x 4 port flow profile.
• The plug and cage trim uses a solid plug with a pressure balancing holes moving inside a ported cage to control flow.
• This design provides the maximum flow capacity for a cage trim choke valve.
• The plug is guided internally in the flow cage controlling the opening of the ports and the flow rate.
• The flow cage is supported at both ends by the body and pressure balance sleeve providing a rigid and robust design.
• In-line straight pattern body also available.
• Centre to face distance can be manufactured as per customer requirement. However JVS has standard dimensions as per best industry practice.
