RIGHT ANGLE BODY

Angle body choke are most common. Body standardize in line with trim and gallery design. Different end connection can be welded to body to accommodate customer requirement. End connection requirements vary. Welded end connections provide flexibility for different combination and different end connection dimensions. The right angle body is available for all choke model developed by JVS. This design will help to flow the fluid away from bonnet and towards down-stream of the pipe line. The design allows improved fluid flow since the fluid exiting from the trim will travel directly into the choke outlet.

135 DEGREE ANGLE BODY

It is imperative to meet customer need for tailor’s made angle requirement. JVS developed 135 degree angle body for some of its customer.

IN-LINE AND STRAIGHT BODY PATTERN CHOKES

This inline body (straight pattern) body is available for small sizes like 2” and 3” and medium sizes like 4” chokes. End connections are either flange integrally cast of single peace forged. Cast bodies are designed with inlet to center and center to outlet flow path. 5 axis machining concept is developed to machine flow passage for forged body construction. Designed passages within in the choke direct the flow from the inlet end connection to the trim inlet and from the trim outlet to the outlet end connection. Few variant are available for In-line (Straight pattern) choke body.
